ELT are proud to present the Dragon Slayer 2017 on 7th May 2017. Once again we return back to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park where the event will take place on the magnificent closed road circuit surrounding the 2012 Olympic velodrome, the Velopark, Stratford.

This purpose built 1 mile track has its share of undulating terrain, fast straights and technical corners making it an ideal venue for DS2017.

Event

The event format of run-bike-run, starts with a 3mile (3 lap) first run then a 15mile (15 lap) bike section before finishing with a 2mile (2 lap) final run.ELT_logo

The event is open to all ability levels and is both an ideal venue for your first duathlon whilst at the same time provides a challenge for the more experienced duathletes and triathletes.

There are changing and showering facilities as well as cafes on site. Providing the backdrop to the event is the London Aquatic Centre (used for the 2012 Olympic swimming events), the 2012 athletics Stadium and the ArcelorMittal Orbit and the vast Westfield shopping centre.

The DS2017 edition will be announced shortly. More details to come.
